2 years minimum eduction and/or work experience in electronics. Electronic knowledge should be advanced.

Education and/or work experience in mechanics preferred.

Power Limited License (PLT) desired.

Knowledge and experience with PLCs.

Continue education as requested.

Technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems.

Experience with German equipment such as electronics and schematics is a definate plus.

Authoritative knowledge of programmable and computerized controllers, VFD (variable frequency drives), DC power supplies, AC and DC electronic motors and ability to do electronic board repair. Ability to accurately specify, source and acquire automation equipment. Knowledge of cable plant, house wiring, three phase AC and power control. Demonstrated ability to automate processes.

Ability to weld, solder or braze.

Excellent communication skills (telephone, written, verbal and listening).

Ability to provide leadership in projects and mentor others.

Willingness to train others.

Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions.

Ability to create electrical parts in AutoCad preferred.

Flexible schedule to meet the needs of internal and external customers.

Physical effort - standing, bending, stooping, twisting, repetitive motion, lifting between 50 - 70 pounds.
